What's on!

Mind Under Water
Several Seats are back again with the 'Mind Under Water' project. We have received funding from Bedfordshire and Luton Community Foundation!

This programme encourages and empowers ethnic minority women to participate in aquatic sports. The programme provides women with a fun opportunity to experience the benefits of the water, understand how physical activity can promote positive mental health and bring together like-minded women for some fun!

The ‘Mind Under Water’ programme runs for 8 weeks and includes an online welcome call to introduce the programme.

What are we offering: Ladies-only swimming lessons for complete beginners, improvers and more advanced swimmers.
Cost: This programme has limited FREE spaces and covers the cost of all equipment and swimwear. You will be required to pay a £50 security deposit that is refunded on completion of the programme

When: The first welcome talk will be online: Friday 4th October 6pm (slides will be provided)
Swimming lessons: First class Saturday 5th October 4pm -5pm for 8 consecutive weeks.

Where: Keech Hospice Hydrotherapy Swim Pool, Great Bramingham Ln, Luton LU3 3NT

What happens in a lesson? You will engage in 8 lessons to work on several swimming techniques and skills. The lessons will support all at any swimming stage, with floats provided to aid beginners. You will not only learn how to swim but you will also develop your confidence in the water.
